概要†

アイギーナ島（Aegina）の出身のピューテアース（Phytheas）が、ネメアー競技祭のパンクラティオン競技に勝利したのを祝うためにつくられた祝勝歌。ピンダロスも『ネメアー祝勝歌』第5番で同じ勝利を祝っている。

韻律の schema は次のようになる。| は diaeresis、|| は period の終わりを表す。str. / ant. の3行目が変則的である（D の変形と見ることができる）。

B. 13 の韻律の特徴は Barrett によると次の通りである*1。

x e (x) | となる部分のうち、`u' e (x) | となるものの比率が非常に高い。
短いanceps の出現頻度が高い。

B. 13 は489年頃に書かれたと Barrett は考えており、これは早い時期に属するので、他の作品と比べて「自由な技法」（free technique）を用いて書かれていると考えているようである。
