初刊本はブレシア（Brescia）出身の Ferandus によるものである。これはわずか数部しか現存していない。2番目の校訂本は Paulus Fridenperger によるもので、Niccoli の持っていた写本に近い。1495年にヴェネツィアで校訂本が出版されている。編集者は第267ページの記述から C. Lycinius という人物であろうと推定されている。満足できる最初の校訂本は Aldus 版（1500）である。Ioannes Baptista Pius は1514年に注釈書も出版している。Petrus Candidus による Iunta 版は Aldus 版に主によっていると考えられるが、Avancius の名前は言及されない。Iunta 版にある、質の良い修正読みは Candidus によるものではなく、Marullus（1500没）によるものだと一般には考えられている。Aldus 版第2版（1515）は Andrew Naugerius によるもので、これはおおむね Iunta 版のリプリントである。リヨン（ラテン語では Lugdunum）の Gryphius は全3回校訂を行っているが、これはおおむね Aldus 版第2版のリプリントだと考えられる。Iunta 版以降重要な校訂本はしばらく現れていなかった。転機をもたらしたのが Dionysius Lambinus である。1695年の Thomas Creech の校訂本はおおむね Lambinus のリプリントであるが、`interpretatio' は彼独自のものである。Vossius が所有していた、ライデンにある2つの写本（O, Q）をはじめて体系的に取り扱ったのは Havercamp である。
